A la Jaÿsinia - Samoëns



In 1998, Thierry Froissard, a pastry chef with more than 30 years'experience, took over the House of La Jaÿsinia established in 1880.

World champion pastry chef in 1989 and awarded best carftsman in France, he holds dear the idealogies of quality and he is willing to share his skills.

Patries, chocolates, ice creams

The aim is for a maximum of products to be made in-house : chocolates, pastries, jams, ice creams, gingerbread, nougatine, etc...: reflecting local pastry produce.


The selection of basic ingredients is all important : the best produce, preferably fresh and sourced as close to home as possible.


Ice cream is made with milk from the Vallons in Samoëns ; butter comes from La Roche sur Foron ; flour from Saint Pierre en Faucigny, etc...
